Title: Hackintosh in a G5 case
Post by: ledjohnny on July 11, 2011, 11:10:19 AM
So basically one of my many computers is running the new Mac OS X Lion with full support! (sound, graphics, ethernet) And so I'm thinking of putting it in the famous, sexy apple Power Mac G5 chassis.

What this guy has done essentially, with different hardware of course
Hackintosh in a PowerMac G5 Case - Start up (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbctCN-hZ00&feature=player_detailpage#)

And before the rage about how "shitty" you think Mac is, it's a hobby that I happen to like. If you like to bash my hobby, go get one yourself and acquire some feeling of self accomplishment.
^Not to be taken in offence.

* P.S. For people who don't know what the OSX86 project is about, well here it is. It's running OS X on non-apple hardware. *

Great info here: http://www.osx86project.org/ (http://www.osx86project.org/)

Exactly! It is cheaper and out-performs many Macs. :)

My .5 Mbit/s upload speed would eat shit, if only Fi0s or Uverse was available.
