And honestly, for a laptop (m11x), it was so easy, it's sad.
But to the point. Are there any applications out there (Free) that moniter cpu heat?

I would use HWmonitor.
Tell us what temps your getting.
Laptops dont got a lower threshold then desktops so yeh.

It's staying cool because I'm keeping a good airflow.
Constantly staying at around 45-55 degrees C.
Ironically enough, it's cooler now than it was when it wasn't overclocked.

my old inspiron caught on fire cause i played too much Fate, come at me
but dell gives shitty fucking power adapters... and computers, but most of all, adapters.
