Title: How can I create a non-hover helicopter?
Post by: StartedBullet on July 09, 2011, 02:32:23 PM
Pretty much the title, I wish to make a helicopter and was wondering what the best way to create the lift would be w/o hoverballs. By this, I don't mean thrusters.

-Thanks

So you want to create upward lift without hoverballs or thrusters?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Use an expression with E:applyForce or something.

I'm having a little bit of trouble with parenting my helicopter, and I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to fix this.

I had a wheel on top with curved fins parented to it, the wheel was attached to a block on top of the helicopter. The block was welded to a plate at the bottom of my helicopter which the body was welded too. For some reason my helicopter blades went completely nuts when I tried to use them. Any ideas?

You should only parent purely cosmetic parts
