It's not about hiding what I look like.
If you really want to go there though, it's more that I have more self pride than to feel the need to share what I look like to every random person on the internet.
Needless to say though, probably half the community does know what I look like, whether it be from Skype or a pic I posted or video.
I just don't see it's necessary to use a picture of myself to show everyone on the forum what I look like.

If I see an opportunity to make an ass of myself to humor everyone, I'll do it just for the sake of the laugh, but I don't feel obligated to have my avatar as a picture of myself because I don't want to "hide what I look like".
