I was downloading COD black ops to try it in the free weekend and this happens.

I tried it, it crashed whenever I tried to change the graphics. And I have a GeForce 9600.

the game is shit why you bother

and the GF96 is probably your problem, try resetting the CFG

I tried it, and actually enjoyed the multiplayer. Hackers weren't too bad, I just switched to their team.

I got to level 39 in 3 days, so that's cool too. Got to the AK-47 just in time for the weekend to run out.

I don't get why people hate black ops so much, I played it and I didn't see that many issues with it ._.

Is there some magic flaw here that I'm not seeing?

For me, it's a combination of how mainstream or what not it is, how unrealistic it is (when it's trying to be), and how OP too many of the weapons are.

Just too many cheap ways to get a kill in CoD.
Completely ruins the fun.

Well I played it but after 2 days using completely overpowered guns with silencers. It became boring, I prefer battlefield.

That's why I enjoy Red Orchestra, a little old but totally realistic. WW2 game if anyone's wondering, also comes with a free mod called Darkest Hour.

Yeah, poorly made engine. Even my computer gets a bit laggy with it. ???
