I can pretty much PROMISE you that the reason MOST people here dislike CoD is not quite what you're ignorantly implying.
For most, I imagine, it's more because it's incredibly fucking mainstream and overrated by most, just because it's the "norm".
If CoD weren't so mainstream, and wasn't so way overly talked about/overrated I wouldn't quite dislike it so much. But I have to hear about CoD way too fucking much, and so does everyone else I imagine... and it just gets ridiculous.

I liked World at War. A lot.

That's the only good recent call of duty game IMHO.

I just wish treyarch would go back to their old style, and drop activision.

I remember the old cod2 days, those were the best. An actual story based on real events. It was just fucking epic!
