Post by: alexoidother on May 24, 2011, 09:38:54 PM
My computer lag as hell, when I'm opening Internet Explorer it opens for 2-3 minutes, when it's only 10-30 secunds.
Or also when I'm connecting to server it connect 10 minutes without downloading files from server!
How can I make it don't lag? :(

Get Firefox or Google Chrome.
Seriously though, it takes quite awhile to load Internet explorer for me.
Anyways, maybe your computer is filled up with loads of useless files?
Try cleaning it up.

I doubt that would matter as much as excess program processes running in the BG - which wastes space in memory that is constantly changing, dynamic so far as how much is available to what programs, instructions, even data, when, and where, and for how long X process/instruction/piece of datas is using said space.

Reinstall XP, but do not modify your partition while installing (keeps your files)

But before you do that download a decent firewall (I suggest Comodo Internet Security) and get some reasonable Anti-Virus software, then install it BEFORE ever connecting to the internet after you reinstall (an XP computer connected to the internet without a firewall and updates = hacked in less than 60 seconds by bots)
