Ok, simple question. I just want an answer, and someone can delete it. Seriously, just like one answer. I don't want a whole frikin conversation on cheese in this post. And if anyone is going to post something stupid, let waffles do it. Just let waffles do it.

Well it's intended to be where users can see a helpful, correct, or otherwise respectable post and show they respect it by +1'ing it.


What it's actually used for because this is the internet is trolling, personal vendattas, and showing you have a "bigger penis."

But as a whole it usually does show whether the person is generally in good status with the community or in bad status.


Just don't do anything stupid and your respect will be fine.

Respect is the total sum of all positive and negative votes on your posts.

Votes are made by users on a per post basis.

Some categories do not allow post voting.

Also, If an individual post as at least 5 negative votes, it will be flagged and hidden by default.
