Title: Is minecraft worth the buy?
Post by: Cake Faice on May 16, 2011, 07:01:06 PM
Because before, I didn't have any money with 14.95 EUR came out to be $15. But now since 15 EUR is around $20, is minecraft really worth the buy? I have the pingazed version, I can go on cracked servers, get all the updates as of right now, just minus the skin feature.

IMO gets boring sometimes if you only play survival, but some people beg to differ

I wouldn't buy it.... but I have heard they are going to take away the avaliblity of pingas versions, or at least make it harder.

Terraria seems neat and unique, but I think people will get bored of it pretty quickly.

Yea I know, but from what I've seen (mind you, I haven't seen much of it) it just doesn't seem that interesting.
That could be just me though.
I just prefer nice 3D games lol.
But anyways, I'm too lazy to check all of the replies to the Terraria thread, so how much does it cost?

Don't buy it unless you  feel like throwing your money away to Notch. If you're fine playing on cracked servers and getting a new torrent everytime a new update comes around, that's fine.

I went legit for the Skins, the ability to play on any server, and being able to update through the client.

New torrent?

There is a client that has an update function to update to the latest release, it isn't hard to click "Update to the latest version" after launching, I got 1.5 5 mins after it was released doing this...

Actually, I do have the client version that lets me force an update from there without having to download a new torrent...
