Was there another new Gmod update or something?
Because now Gmod just doesn't load whatsoever?

Same here.
When I opened Steam, Gmod was downloading something for a short time.
Now Gmod just turns off whenever I try to load it.

I'm not sure if this is an update or not.
According to the game, last update was at 4/21/2011.
Maybe it's just some kind of an error.

2 gmod can't work with latest engine
3 gmod patch out to work with latest engine
