Fucking surreal, a lot of them were almost a mile wide. There's at least a thousand dead, IMO. Just horrific.
This especially worries me because my sister was taking a school field trip to Tennessee via bus and they were in Alabama yesterday, wish me luck.

this is tragic indeed, hopefully the president does something about this and not sit on his butt.

I thought it was only 290 dead.

I thought it was only 290 dead.
Thats what you think.

I thought it was only 290 dead.
Only 290 people.
290 people are dead right now because of this tornado.
Only 290 people.
You're horrible.
-
:/ I didn't mean it in that way, I was trying to correct OP because he said at least 1000 dead.

Well, that's better of my estimate of 1000.
Plus, there were hundreds of tornadoes a freaking mile wide.
They've only identified 290 people as dead, which is, while tragic, not as bad as it could've been.
:/ I didn't mean it in that way, I was trying to correct OP because he said at least 1000 dead.
There's only 290 identified dead, remember that.

"As of Thursday evening, the death toll stood at around 280 people."
No?
-edit oh yes.
Seb you fail.

Go look at something a mile long.
Imagine a whirlwind of destructive wind 300mph as big as that.
Now imagine a hundred of them.
Does 1000 dead seem entirely possible?
