Title: Recent Source Engine and Garry's Mod Update Information
Post by: coolzeldad on April 15, 2011, 03:26:23 PM: This is an overview of what has happened so far:

The source engine was updated and released with TF2 updates, etc.

This update prevented the Garry's Mod client from loading as it would crash to the desktop.

Garry's Mod was updated to sync with the latest source engine code along with a hefty amount of changes.

Garry's Mod worked for clients again, however, there were some significant client bugs that caused crashes.

The reported bugs were fixed in the latest 118 Garry's Mod update.

Now, what I'm doing:

There are a few issues with the servers I am actively working on, in relation to these updates.

I'm doing as much as I can to bring the servers back up for you guys to play like normal.

SO SINCE EVERYTHING RELATED TO VALVE JUST LIKES TO FUCK ITSELF

I'll have to go through servers manually to get them working, a tedious and time consuming process which I'll start tomorrow.. Hopefully I'll get servers up by midday tomorrow PST

If anyones interested, I'll be in Teamspeak under the Server Progress channel announcing my status on launching each server.

If not, I'll be working on putting the servers up individually within the next few hours.

I highly doubt the IP is going to change.

This shouldn't effect your favorites list, although I can't guarantee anything

They aren't switching engines.. this is just an update to the current engine.

The current attacks have been mainly targeting ttt so the payload will be felt most there.
