Except when the conversion process is such where the audio gets distorted sounding, or whatever you call it. Virtually all the "X song in G major" videos on youtube have the audio sound like this, not like a song with a key change, but like a Protoss probe is trying to sing.

If I remember right, you want to split the audio into 6 Different channels,

Change one to G,
Change one to B,
Change one to G on the LOWER octave
Change one to E
Change one to C
Keep one at the default.
