nah, should record a demo (.dem) first

Then when done playing, playdemo and record with source recorder.

It'll look laggy during recording (this is why you make a demo) but the product is smooth :)

to record your .dem file you need to put in .raw instead of .avi.

.avi messes up your framerate and sound sync.

i use a laptop, gamebooster doesnt help.

While I sort of agree, it is a valid tactic in my opinion.
Mic spamming usually prevents at least some of the other people from talking to each other over mic, making it much easier for traitors.
