I'm just giving you a heads-up

Though what it made me think of is unrelated it should remind all of you that people could easily make a second account just to +1 their own applications.

My suggestion is that if a person makes an account and +1's an app that was made less then one hour ago the IP should be checked to see if it's the same IP or a different one to make sure that the person did not +1 their own app with alts.

Any thoughts?

Good point but not everyone uses proxies, this would at least help the problem somewhat.

How about anybody who ISN'T CURRENTLY REG can't +1?

Takes a trusted member to become a trusted member.
Sounds fine to me.
That way, since there currently are so many of us, they would actually have to BE regular players.
Or no one would know them.
Which, and don't lie...you don't know most of the recent appliers.

Just leave it as it is.
Votes done by sudden people appearing out of nowhere just to +1 one single app don't matter anyway, so it's not a big deal.
