Description of the event(s) we were all building AT spawn.. everyone was doing something and prsn just finished his traintrack.. but obviously he was bored. he came to spawn and put an unbreakable box over everyone who was in the area.. i didn't ask to remove or make a big deal.. but when he kept doing it. i pulled out the mingecage for a moment and he started to wine.. and then he continued to threaten me ,by reporting me for doing the same thing he did to us.. but i didn't trap 5 people.. and i instantly removed to stop his wining

i dont think he can control him self using advanced dupe...
he is a good guy mabye just a stern talkin to ... hes normaly fine but i hate whiny children.

didn't get a chance to snap any.. but its obvious,, chuck norris, dj junior, myself, and two other guests were all trapped in his box

Your mad cuz i counted to 5 and then said im going to report you and now i have done, you left the server in fear, and i did not minge trap people with my box, you were killing chuck and other were killing chuck multiple times, i made the box to protect my friend. you got stuck in it and dont have the mental capacity to understand on hoe to get out (its kill in console btw) stead you just spammed c4 inside the box and kept killing people so i removed it seeing as it did not save chuck from a minge like you. i have proof of what you did to me.

Well true he mad a box at spawn but only to protect Chuck Norris or whatever,but no one were trapped they could just suicide,then i suicided like 2 or 3 times to get in but it werent a trap o.o
Anyways prsn is my friend (as well sir 2) and all but dude dont report someone for caging u 1 time do like me,give them 3 chances (as well i only see bad things [to report] at fretta) and then report if they dont stop

I and those other people were not all trapped in his box, he made it near spawn to protect me from people playing with gdc and pewpew because they were killing me and i couldnt build! As soon as he realized that he spawned it at the point where you spawn, he removed it right away. He was not minging.

I have joined wirebuild right after this and done some "investigating".
Luckily, all people affected by this (including all witnesses, Prsn and SirMksAlot) were still there when I joined, so that's no issue.
I have asked all witnesses listed in this thread for their comments - and the outcome is that SirMks was causing a lot of trouble towards Chuck Norris, which resulted in Prsn spawning a simple cube (from which it is possible to suicide and noclip out from) around the area where Sir was. This made Sir spam C4 everywhere and still disrupting other players. Sir's "statement" to that is that he wanted to get out. Whatever.
After removing the cube, the same cube got spawned over a bridge, but with no intention of specifically trapping SirMk in it.
Sir, on the other hand, took this as a declaration of war and used the "Minge Catcher Pro" adv dupe to repeatedly trap prsn, even if he suicides. A brief explanation of that dupe would be that it traps the nearest person to it after a press on numpad 1. Since you can spam 1, it's impossible to get out and due to the effects caused by the dupe it's also lagging the server a lot. When we were testing this dupe, SirMks mysteriously left the server as well.
Anyway, this in its whole is an incredibly stupid argument, but from what I've heard and seen, I'd like to put my statement this way:
SirMksAlot overreacted significantly and stupidly over all this, ignoring the fact he could've just suicided or noclip to escape his unintentional prison. Instead of dealing with matters peacefully though, he decided to start a giant-ass war on prsn's. At the end, there was no winner, Prsn stopped after the previously mentioned spawned cube (which was done to protect Chuck again from Sir), yet Sir continued. Even at the end, this could've been just forgotten and dealt with by saying sorry and loving each other again.
Instead you made this thread.
Prsn didn't react as good as he could, but he has definitely done the lesser evil in this, simply trying to protect his friend, which Sir took as massive insult to his privacy or whatever - considering SirMks was already randomly killing people, I don't think Prsn should have any form of punishment in this matter.
If you ask me, a temporary demotion is definitely fine here regarding SirMksAlot - but that's just the opinion of an unimportant person and it's not up to me to make this judgement.

Ahem, i never said you didn't kill me, i think you did once or twice but it was also other people, so prsn was being nice and made me a box so i wouldnt get killed by gdc, fairy, pewpew, etc

I think either sirsmksalot should get a temporary demote or no one gets a demotion at all.
1. Even though don's information is nice, its not extremely reliable; Some people could like Prsn more and side with him. (No Offence)
2. sirsmksalot griefed first, then Prsn intervened and it became a minge war.
All I've seen the hoverdrive been used for is trapping other players. It lags whenever it teleports rapidly and annoys pretty much everyone on the server except for the player using it. It should be removed or be only allowed for admins.

my intentions were not to trap him, he just lacks the mental capacity to escape, even ask don and others who where there when i showed them what i did wrong and what he did wrong. and this is not his first minging offense

regardless like i said he had no right to cage you. I hope it was a misunderstanding. I have known Sirsmks for a while b4 you but I'm not being biased cause as you said "I was not there" . If you want him banned post a demo of him doing something negative and report him then. other than that testimonials are by definition "here say" and thus not credible. now as I said before NO offense to the respected parties involved.

on the other hand.. i duped the mingecage. and sent it on him ONCe.. he didn't even let it soak in.. he starting wining instantly for me to remove or he was going to report... so i laughed at him..

i can understand him saying he was trying to get away from the minges.. because yes.. "hardgay and spike" were minging with bombs and prop spamming and all kinds of shit..
but still he had no right to cage us.. and just leave us in there. i didn't ask any1 to put a box over me and the spawn area. he got trapped for about a 4th of time he did to me.. and he disliked it enough to post a report... mabye now he'll realize its annoying,
me and prox just tested the mingecage... it is not a trap you can simply suicide your self right out of it.. and spawn back at the spawn area.. unlike his box that was spawned on top of me,, and on top of the spawn area... when i suicided i could do nothing but respawn inside..

for 1 i went through this 40 times... i couldn't no clip through his props,, and second he could have gotten out of the minge cage by typing "kill" in consol....
and for 2.. he threated me with a report....
3rd i send him a pm apologizing, and admitting we were childish and asked to put it behind us, he didn't reply until today with childish PM back

This is the statement I have the largest issue with.
Why?
Lets see, there seems to be a small drama fest that goes on between Sirs, prsn and a few others who inhabit the wire-build server.
The thing is, I have talked about the minge-cage issue before. In a few reports that involve you sirs in fact.
I have told you, as well as everyone else on the server in no uncertain terms, you are never in any circumstance to Mingecage someone.
I have also explained in great detail the reason why you don't do this.
Instead, hit the console button (aka ~)
Type "record asdf" (or whatever else you want to call it)
now go to C:/Program files/Steam/Steamapps/Account@sadf.pingaz/garrysmod/garrysmod/asdf.dem and take the demo you recorded.
Then you come here, and you upload your demo. Problem solved, I or another admin looks at it, and the person gets banned. Simple.
However
If you ever spawn a mingecage in retalition to anything again.
I'm not going to demote you, nor am I going to ban you for a few days.
I'm going to permanently ban you. From both the servers, and the forums.
I don't care if the person simultaneously insulted every member of your family in 14 different languages, while exploding your stuff 100,000 times a second.
You are not to retaliate towards them.
Instead record a demo.

No, it's simple to not get banned.
Just don't mingecage people, even if its for such a short period of time that its imperceptible to the human eye.
Even if the person could just suicide and get out.

this is the second topic that needs locking and taking down. once it's gone the incident should never be brought up again. lest we restart the cycle of hate stemming from said incident. but we should learn from this as well as Xrain's post. unless anyone wants a permaban sandwich?
