Title: Fucking 000webhosting
Post by: Cake Faice on February 10, 2011, 06:49:26 PM: Ledjohnny was right, 000webhosting is pretty shitty. Not only for the down-times, but the bullshit reasons on account cancellation.

So, I have good forum set-up for my friend's gmod clan and server. 53 members, a good amount of posts per board and shit like that. Apart from SMF databases time-outs, it was doing fine. Until they sent me emails apperantly in-which I did not check them. Stating that I am:

         - You may also logon to the phpMyAdmin and check which table has the most records. Then, if you think that this table does not contain any valuable information (such as logs, stats or cache), you can click on the `Empty` or `Truncate` icon to clean it.

They never said they would cancel my account because of it. I guess it's my fault for not-attending the issue, and not knowing much about php/mysql databases but they could have gave me a warning about it, to backup my database so I have all my users, posts, themes, icons and crap like that saved for a new transfer.

So I guess after 9 months of pretty good hosting, they decide to pull this.

I'm hoping to god x10 hosting is an improvement.

Well gee, not everyone here gets 20Mb down 10Mb up for 50 dollars a month...
