Title: Something to Spice Up TTT
Post by: Foofoojack on January 18, 2011, 05:49:30 PM
We desperately need something added to TTT to spice it up. Right now traitors just buy knife and kill. Det's just DNA scan. We need something added to the Detective and to the traitors to spice things up. (making sure they're balanced)

Way to think so black and white.

If you want to "spice things up" all you have to do is

- Buy Disguiser
- Buy Teleporter

1. Set teleport spot where most people are grouped up at.
2. Find a sniping spot, with only ONE Way in-out (A tower for example)
3. Snipe someone (or two) while disguised in said tower
4. While the people are like "HES UP THERE." "YEAH, CORNER HIM SO HE CANT ESCAPE", you run half-way down, and teleport to your location.
5. Pretend you're on of them, and be like "Make sure he doesn't get away!" while you're running right behind them.
6. Lol when they get to the tower, and can't find the shooter.

While i do agree adding stuff to TTT would be really cool it'd be really hard to keep it as balanced as it is now =[ if you wanna make some minor changes change the skins of the guns on your end and just screw around (you have no idea how funny custom skins are xD) there are numerous threads on this and they need to stop until the TTT gamemode itself is updated and re balancing (if needed) will be seen to.

Death try doing that every time your traitor. It gets hella boring. And theres no guarantee thats going to work every time. Im sure if one thing is added another thing can balance it.

You obviously didn't understand my point.

I was trying to point out, that there's already a fuckton of tools at your disposal. Whether or not you're smart enough to find a good combination is up to you.

And you sort of contradicted yourself. You said "Death try doing that every time your traitor. It gets hella boring."
But you're suggesting to add a new weapon of some sort, which would be the same thing. Just doing it over and over again.

It WOULD be a good idea to add somethings to do for Detectives and Traitors, as long as it's balanced.

Taitors should have Black-hole gun
Det. should get anti-gravity ( No clip ) Gun

would be fun!

Or we can just leave TTT the way it is…
wich works out for me.
