Title: Idea: Build-Fight-Survive server

I played on a BFS server once with GCombat/GCX installed, and it was pretty fun. Of course, player seeking propkill E2's were against the rules.

If we have the resources, it would be pretty cool. Especially so that Tech and his other whores can have their plane fights and not lag the server's physics to shit.

I'd be down to the max. We used to play Fort wars back in the old days and I still have tons of forts that need finishing after we stopped playing. Bitches don't know bout my base skills.

I made some fucking boss-ass forts back when build was still decent. I uploaded one, and it has liek 13k downloads .-.

If we had it I would definitely spend a lot of admin time refereeing and holding contests. Just imagine Tank battle tuesdays, Fort Fridays, Ship Sundays, Space Saturdays, Taco thursdays, Wings Wednesday, and Mayhem Mondays....I'm so smart  :trollface:

as for this obvious issue we could regulate it like raceing with different classes. No wire mod, Wire mod, e2, and size classifications

The server I played on was just basically wirebuild, except on freespace09 and with little restrictions on RDM or abusing weapons.

I think militaries shouldn't be allowed to use cruise missiles, because those are cheap too.

Well, although facers are cheap it's VERY difficult to make a non-facer 3D aiming turret without much more advanced wire skill.

No, its not that hard without E2.

You just need to learn which gates to use as you need maybe ~5 for a basic, basic, turret

Everyone knows how to make a 2d aiming turret, I'm talking about the type that involve bearing, elevation, angular force, etc.
