All files from gmod.org are on there.

Uh, only manually-uploaded addons are available on GmodFiles...
You can find many older GMod maps on FPSBanana, and some servers have FastDL urls with maps and addons that you may want.

Firefox can't find the server at www.gmodfiles.com (http://www.gmodfiles.com)
* Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of
www.example.com (http://www.example.com)
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

We have closed GmodFiles.com for good.
Simply put, we got sick of paying thousands of pounds worth of server bills only to watch a bunch of cheapskates take advantage of our kindness and goodwill - simply because they didn't want to pay less than 10 dollars or 6 pounds for an awesome game.
To those of you using GmodFiles because you haven't bought Garry's Mod and can't access garrysmod.org
You are the reason this has happened. I have personally spent over four thousand pounds out of my own pocket running this site and you won't even pay less than 0.15% of that cost so that someone can make a living? Nothing in this world is free and I hope you realise that one day. Until then, be safe in the knowledge that it's your fault this site has been taken down.

Thank you for using the site! We can't remember exactly, but we think the site is around four years old now! It started life as gmodfiles.co.uk and was a little project between me (UberMensch) and my good friend (and partner in crime) y0haN. We've had fun running this site for you and hope you appreciate and understand why GmodFiles is now no more. We are keeping everything which has been uploaded since the beginning (over 3,300 files) as an archive. Maybe we will use the content for something new. Maybe not.
