cus we don't have one.
How about them Pakistani newspapers eh? Or US foreign policy policy being dictator friendly.
Discuss corrupt governments and ACTION we could take to change them. It's time for people to reclaim their freedom.
-
no revolution.
that is all.
-
I think it's really sad how the USA is handling this.
Freedom of speech is protected in the law and all they're doing right now is punish a man for free speech.
-
but what he did was espionage. whether or not it was him that got the documents, he chose to publish them
-
its stupid end of story
he just published it, all they had to do was tell him to take it down not fucking jail him and change the law to get it down

your relations with other countries should not be kept secret from the public. If America truly was a democracy the people would have a say in your foreign policy. Strangely the only branch of government that even has any power to cooperate with other nations in the executive branch. congress does not have any large amount of influence with what you do with other countries Leaders have used diplomatic treaties like trade agreements as a loophole to enforce local policy.
Tactical military data like the routs of supply and troop shipments should be kept secret. None of the cables released will contain data that will allow and enemy to find and exploit a weakness in your army.
TLDR
stop being a stupid Ignorant American and find out about what your founding fathers had in mind for this nation and it government and compare it to how it is now.

if you've got a solution, then tell us.
but it does nothing to just point out the problem. the country is full of morons who say "we need to take our country back" but don't have a method.
(NOT implying you are one of those morons.)

I'm German I can't do shit.
Point is American has to the most part been an amazing and free place to live. I'm afraid that might change to be more like Germany this place aint no shit hole but it is a bit more oppressive.
If you guy want action to be taken however it will not be enough to go out in the street with cardboard on a stick. You guys need man power and serious dedication.
Only a few months ago the French shut their entire country down because they were dissatisfied with a law that was passed. It proves that shit can still get done.

you try standing up to the US military.
The local police will crucify you before you can do anything major
I can't do anything.
anyone who can make a difference is too busy getting paid to fuck the rest of us

I'm sure riots on Korea are far worse (or at least much more common).
We haven't had many MAJOR riots since the Cuban's flooded Florida. (Please correct me, if i'm wrong.)

because the police have become so efficient at dispatching these "illegal gatherings"

That would be violating your right to assemble and petition the government. You don't need to stand up to the police and military you need to bring them into the fold.

Nations should provide, protect, and serve its citizens, not the interests of the multinationals.
-Serj Tankian
And also, I believe that a 'democratic' country, or at least a country in which 'the people have the power', everything, EVERYTHING done by the government should be of public view. For anyone to see. No damn secrets.
