I have recently thought of an idea for the map system in zs. I know there is already a map vote system, But the bad thing is that people constantly vote the same maps over and over without knowing that there are other real nice maps on the list. A map vote system IS better than the old rotation... But only in a few ways. So my idea is to combine the two. For example: One game you use the vote map system like normal. After that match is over, the game picks a map at random with out the votemap system. And the process would repeat, votemap and then random, etc.  Please vote your answer in the poll above and comment your thoughts below.

This would make Zs better. I stopped playing zs like I did before, guess why?

Well basically there is 4-5 maps that people always chooses and there is, well I don't know
like 40 maps?

But consider it this way, the server chooses which maps they really want to play, if the majority of the server wants to play a certain map the map should be played.

If you really want to play one of those other 40 other maps that are on the list, (most of which are shitty) get a group of people to tell the people over the mic to vote for that map.

Objection!

The number of people who choose one map may be 4 to 8. How many people are playing in the server? around 20.

thats a 2:5 ratio of people who want to play that map and not over half. The others want to try something new.

have you not noticed that there is the same voting system on ttt also now? i don't think that there is going to be a change. But to me i honestly like it because i have seen some of the maps that have been uploaded to the server and if a map is randomly selected we may have to play one of those shitty maps that have been uploaded.

Just hear me out, the rotation is fine the way it is lol. but maybe a better feature would be for a vip to start a vote to switch to a different map.

i also disagree with this because this is what the one round with the votemap system is for, There are times where very few people with a mic is on the server you know.
*EDIT* : And there are even maps i haven't played on the server and i'm not going to look through the whole list looking for them in 40 seconds and i probably wont be able to get half of the people to vote a random map at the last second.

I think a better way to do this would be to write a script that makes it so the previous 3 maps are not featured on the votemaps list.

But this is what i was going to do because i'm aware there are some REARY bad maps on zs.
I was going to write the map name down on paper or on the forum. We could have a "Horrible shit zs maps - Remove nao!" thread
