So today I received a message from RND saying:
Cheese n' Ketchup,
You have received a warning for spamming in regards to the message:
Re: LOL.

Where does it say "Spamming is not allowed." Firstly, everyone in RND spams. Even the Admins spam, yet only the members get watched? What is this shit? Elaborate please.
-
People often spam to an extent where it's not annoying, but your consistant spam was just plain annoying.
Admin is credit to team.
Also, I think it's pretty much a given that spamming is not allowed ::).

Orly if it was so annoying why did people play along? And if it is not allowed, why do admins do it?
-
3 people said to stop.
2 people played along.
And as I said, they do it to a degree where it's still funny not annoying :/.
-
The ones who played didn't play to such extreme as you did.
-
Okay, so 3 people told me to stop. Sabbath, Frank, and Magic. Notice how I stopped before Frank or Magic posted. Therefore 1 told me to stop, and I did after he told me. I still don't see what's the point of watching people.

It means that you're being watched, duh.
If you ain't got no warnings, some things are overlooked. If you've got the least warning, it means you've done something really wrong. Wrong enough as to catch mods' attention.
-
Oshit he spams just like everyone else he's doing some really wrong.
Btw weren't you watched for some time too? What was that for.
-
Just keep unnecessary posts to a minimum and you'll be fine.
-
Ugh does it really matter?
-
I would not like to be banned for doing something everyone else does, if that what you mean.

Well you aren't banned, and if you don't act stupid you won't be :l.
-
Well it's getting me a step closer to being banned and it makes me sad :(

3 people who participated in the "LOL" thread were given 20% warnings. I am only saying that:
1) That is 1/5 of the way to a permanent ban.
2) Frank is one of the biggest trolls i have ever seen. (he also spams, magic just lieks him)
3) Most importantly, what you consider spam, another person may just consider a normal reply to a post.
This said, all posts are spam in some way, shape, or form and should not be able to be warned for unless it is extreme with a strict intent to spam, troll, or anything else in that genre.
Example:
Just keep unnecessary posts to a minimum and you'll be fine.
See, was this post truely neccassary when you think about it or was it implied by everyone else and you just wanted your word in to seem like one of the "good guys". (no offense hitman just an example of unintentional spam)

Ain't got nothing to do.

Spam is something that is considered truly off-topic, purposely derailing, pointless posts (necro-posts sometimes), trolling, posting things that make don't make sense - it can be A LOT of different types of posts/threads.
This said, all posts are spam in some way, shape, or form
Spam can be a lot of things, however this post is not spam as well as many others.
and should not be able to be warned for unless it is extreme with a strict intent to spam, troll, or anything else in that genre.
You are not in the position to make that judgment.
Spam posts are usually deleted and/or threads locked.
Also, global moderators reserve the right to use the warning system INSTEAD OF BANS. ( Yes they can also ban )
It's to let you know you have gone over the line on what's accepted and what's spam.
