I know a lot of you are in college now. How's it going? Whatcha majoring in?
Any one have anything significant happen to them the past year or whatever? Get married? Have kids? Discovered a new species? Etc.
For me, pretty much nothing at all. Thinking of taking a break from school, and joining the military or just working.

Taking a break isn't too bad of an idea.
Double major for Philo/Psych, going back for another degree in Comp Sci or Control Systems, then maybe back again for a MBA. The MBA... I'm unsure about. Don't think I'll need it at all now because of what's been happening out in the field.
I haven't any significant stories to tell, though.

Well, as a sophomore mechanical engineer, I've spent my past 3 weeks with no more than 7 hours of sleep per night, not at all during the day, and doing stuff almost constantly with the rocket team i'm on. It's finally wearing me the fuck out, and I'm not going to be able to actually sleep until next week, maybe. I'm really fucking tired.
And yes, circuit theory is a BITCH.

Majoring in Materials and Nanotechnology as well as brought my first car, a Volvo. Also quite a lot of things didn't go well for me so that along with not so easy studies makes it hard for me to catch my breath lately. Going to be a hard year for me I suppose.

You probably have, I have classes Monday and Wednesday and I am pretty much in the EIB from 8 am to 8 pm. I also often come on Tuesday and Thursday as well. Plus I have a lab on Friday every other week.
As for what I am up to, year 8 of my BS in EE degree. Can't wait to finally graduate some day.
On the plus side I am the president of the campus rocketry club and am currently making a rocket to go to space.

Finally finished with high school and now started studying IT in university.

College.
Currently on Spring Break working ~40 hours instead of vacation because I would rather make money than spend it flying back to Hawaii for only a week.
College has been quite the experience thus far, especially with this current semester. C++, Physics II, Calc II, Discrete Mathematics, all of which are a pain in the ass except for programming because I enjoy it. I'm usually waking up at 7am, and I'm either at school, working, or doing homework until around 10pm.
The past couple of months have been nothing but a blur.

I've just been going from place to place for the last few months, getting along pretty well in high school, having no computer because I'm staying at a friends house is a little saddening but at least I can still check the forums on my school's chrome books.

I'm at a relatively small university, so there's usually only 1 professor per course. Which means that when you have a shitty prof, you're screwed. They just got a new guy last semester who teaches Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Dynamics. He can't fucking teach. Last semester in Thermo, we all passed with barely a C, which was only because he curved everyone from a D. After seeing that he was an idiot in Fluid Mech this semester, I dropped before the deadline. However, I'm stuck in Dynamics. I really cannot express how much of an awful teacher he is. Smart guy, awful teacher.
