Satoru Iwata: He was the President of Nintendo Japan, had a huge influence there, and he has my respect as one of the people who kept Nintendo moving forward.

As such, he was one of the reasons I always wanted to work there.

I will sorely miss him, for I believe he died too young and surely had much more to contribute.

He helped shape the lives of over a generation of kids through games; that is something truely remarkable.
