Title: The power of rNd.
Post by: Yellow Killer on March 29, 2015, 04:02:55 PM: When I first signed up to rNd on December 9th, 2010, I was expecting to play with people and have fun with those that wanted to. I've received that expectation and as a result, I've grown a lot of good memories out of this community. On that note, I would like to say thank you to Coolz and others that made me feel like I was part of family. I know its a little late past my anniversary, but I felt like having the urge to say this.

Once again, thank you.

It's crazy to know that I have known some people for so long now, so much so that they are becoming or have become adults, going to college, graduating and are establishing careers, etc. :book:

To me, the rANdOm community is an online family of a bunch of cool peeps :)

I remember why I joined rNd in the first place: you guys had the only decent winter survival server on all of Gmod. Then I stuck around for TTT, most people hated the harsh karma, I loved it. I'm sorry about the two times I left, I was just fed up with the group for that time. But now I realize I was just over reacting. I can't believe its already been over 4 years since I joined.

I remember it was the last post in THIS thread that suggested RnD servers.

A lot of people who would stir up drama have up and left, and things have been really peaceful since. People for awhile thought that the lack of negative drama meant our community was dying, but honestly it was just a new better stage for us.

I personally don't think it matters if we've made mistakes in the past because of jealousy, drama, or just being a kid. As long as you accepted the mistakes you or others made, there's no other reason than to be happy and mature in this community.
