Alright so, zombie survival servers are getting more popular, mainly because everyone's getting more and more tired of DRP/TTT. I love Zombie Survival, it's my baby. I code for ZS, map for ZS and host for ZS. Sadly, I can't host no more, because not good nuff interwebs and I like downloading porn. So, I have a suggestion that's pretty obvious.

A problem that arised from the previous go at it was that one half wanted new Zombie Survival (3.0), and the other wanted old ZS (2.0). So, I'd say that every map change, there's a gamemode selection like how the TTT/ZS server had it, but with ZS 2.0 and ZS 3.0. That way, people can enjoy both gamemodes.

We tried ZS 2.0 multiple times already, no one played on it. A modified 3.0 on the other hand would be interesting.

God it's been a long time and I personally think zs left before I could get it out of my system and that I grew up with it, and now that I have a rocking pc setup i'm ready to roll. I know many desire 3.0 but the only zs servers that are left are the 3.0 and to just change to 3.0 will destroy any hope of bringing back the classic game mode. I know you guys brought it back for a while and it was dead but I personally think it's because most simply didn't know it was, because there was a gap for a couple of months to bring zs back up to which everyone moved on BUT let's bring it back for at least a little bit, i'll help try to get the word out there because I have a couple friends who reminiscence of the older days and wish to just experience that 2.0 version again. I know most have forgotten who I am and I don't even go by this alias anymore and this is a shot in a dark in my nostalgic state but Garry's mod has a whole new audience now and that HG controls the zs population but I know if some of the old veterans come back along with new players who love the more fast paced 2.0 playstyle combined with the high rewards for being a good individual player along with good map knowledge will make it grow alive slowly but steadily. If in fact ZS is becoming popular again, then I agree - we should try at least SOME form of it again... I like a lot of the changes from 2.0 -> 3.0, though there is a feel, a certain I don't know what, to 2.0 that I really liked over 3.0... maybe a hybrid version that contains the features of 3.0 and the feel of 2.0?
