So yeah got this game for my birthday, been waiting for it since February and oh god it was so worth the wait. Like if anyone hasn't played this yet, I highly recommend it. It's like Final fantasy but it's not Final Fantasy. It has an awesome battle system with cool ass characters. yas yas. And the music for a DS game is pretty god tier:

So for anyone who does own it, what's your favorite asterisk and party. I personally like Pirate, Spell Fencer and Ranger. Pirate for it's looks mostly, but it's double damage is pretty crazy. Spell Fencer is also hella broken along with Ranger. I usually go Edea:Pirate Anges:Spell Fencer with high Red Mage stats Ringabel: Ranger and Tiz: lately has been my sword master. My current party though is Salve-maker, Ninja, Red Mage and Sword Master. I am excited about getting the vampire asterisk though.

Late to post this but I think it is pretty sweet. Tiz as a spellfencer is my favorite and Edea as a white mage. The others are always subject to change. I was a little sad when I didn't get to see Agnes in the bravo bikini tho  :(

Well if we were in the jap version we would have gotten to see it. Personally, Ringabel is my tank (Templar/dark knight) Edea is my damage dealer (Pirate/Valk/Sword Master) Anges is always subject to change for me where she is both my healer and minor damage dealer (maxed out white mage/red mage ninja/vampire) and Tiz is my general support character with maxed out time mage and spiritmaster.

I found Ringabell to be my move around character, since he is my least favorite. I need to start playing this again.

Ringabel is my favorite, because his background story is just absolutely fantastic. Edea is also my favorite. Anges and Tiz are kinda ehh

I only know a bit about Ringabell so far, I assume he had like a dark /crazy past from what I've read in his diary. Don't you dare spoil it though. I shipped Agnes and Tiz already. Edea is cool, her voice bugs me though.
So how many hours of game play should I expect?

I ship Ringabel/Edea rock hard. You'll find out why later on if you keep playing, I won't spoil anything. I am riding around 64 hours of game play atm, and I haven't even beaten the game yet, still playing, still getting new stuff. For a DS game it's pretty heavy in content.
