Title: Modded Minecraft Server
Post by: Goat on May 15, 2014, 06:07:00 PM: I have a dedicated server that I've been playing on with some friends on mine from school and was wondering if anyone here would like to join and play.

I saw in the poll that rNd couldn't host one, and I'm not saying I want to host on for rNd, I just have a server I play on that's available to you guys if you'd like to play some Minecraft.

Server specs:
Processor: Intel Xeon E3 @ 3.2GHz note: we never go above 20% CPU usage, it's always RAM that's killer.
RAM: 3GB, the server idles at around 1200MB usage, so we'll probably upgrade sometime in the next month.
Mods in use: MC v1.6.4

Heres how to play: Step 1. Download the technic launcher Step 2. Add a custom modpack with the pack URL as http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/codys-a-fag Step 3. Play Step 4. Add new server with IP as 192.210.236.42:25765 Step 5. Join
Rules:

These obviously aren't the most serious of rules, but be ethical.

Note: the server is still being developed, we're using custom NPCs to add custom bosses and quests, the server definitely has an RPG element to it.

Griefing is allowed if you build a house in the wild. There are two towns, both of which you can live in if you don't want to be griefed.

If you're looking for end game content, we have it. There's some weapons and armor that is incredibly hard to get.

As for making it an FTB server, I'm not sure. I'll have to look at the mod list and see what we can add, because I'm not sure if the 3GB can handle FTB. Do you have any other recommendations?
