Title: Mouse doesn't fully register fast movements?
Post by: Tezuni on July 30, 2013, 04:03:18 AM
If I move my mouse very fast across the pad, it only moves the cursor a short distance on the screen.

If I move my mouse slowly across the pad, it moves the cursor all the way across the screen.

How can I get my mouse to move fully with quick movements? What could be the problem?

The mouse? Software? (I got a new pad recently to try and fix it, and to no avail)

This is on windows 7 64-bit and it happens on the desktop and in games, etc, not limited to any one program.

This is killing me when I need those fast movements in LoL!! :'(

What type of mouse is it.
Is it wireless?

It's a wireless logitech USB mouse and it looks exactly like this:

Edit:

At this point i'm pretty sure its a faulty sensor with the laser or something.

I'm getting a real gaming mouse now: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AAQRNQ8/ref=pe_385040_30332200_pe_309540_26725410_item (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AAQRNQ8/ref=pe_385040_30332200_pe_309540_26725410_item)

Hope this fixes it lol.

need a faster polling rate ( the amount of times per second it tracks location changes ) aka new mouse

that one you posted should be pretty decent
