Title: Computer failed to boot 3 times, then boots successfully
Post by: ๖Ϝцzsioᴎ on July 28, 2013, 04:54:45 AM: Basically, I turned on my computer and it went poof, it retried, poof, retries, poof.
Then I was still waiting and it got into windows just fine.
What could this mean? PSU failing?

How far does it get into starting up? Do you see "Starting Windows" or anything of the sorts?

I don't even see the POST. after 3 times, it boots fine.

The situation you described happened to me (computer boots, no screen, no keyboard lights, shuts off after 20 seconds) and I was lucky enough that cable wasn't damaged. Thank you, computer, for CPU fan failsafe.

Do you get no response whatsoever? Or do the lights come on, etc.?
If you get no response, it could be a PSU issue.
