No africa or Haiti jokes, serious fucking discussion, but in all seriousness, why do some people hate water? It's necessary for living things to live..
I'm talking about generic drink water, non-tap.
-
some people like sugar, salt, the bitter taste of black coffee etc
some don't like the plain taste of water, but get water by other means... like soft drinks or juice or sometimes even milk
some people like water
some people are very afraid of water, or afraid of clear things, etc

Swimming and stuff I can understand, but I never had heard of a person who disliked drinking water.
-
Tap water I can understand. The water we get from the tap you can smell from the chlorine. But water in general?

You mean someone that doesn't like drinking anything?
because thats fucking weird.

Not much of a discussion.
They don't like water because they'd rather drink something flavored, instead of barely tasting anything.

Well it depends on why you are drinking something in the first place. Is it for the taste/with a meal or to satisfy your thirst. I'd pick water over anything for thirst quenching, but I'd probably not want to have water with a meal.

I find a cold coke more satisfying for my thirst than water.
But now I can't drink coke anyways so i just drink water.

is it just me or are these threads getting really generic lately

Some people just don't like how plain it is, I always thought this when my cousin used to tell me that she hated drinking water. I personally love drinking water, however I would prefer drinking Cranberry Juice, which still provides me a water source and tastes better. It's strange, but I suppose understandable.

People just get used to drinking all this other type of shit for pure pleasure/taste rather then to hydrate themselves. Though that should be pretty obvious. On a regular basis I only drink because your body needs to be hydrated and obviously pure water is the best thing for that so I don't really drink any other stuff on a regular basis in replacement of water. Though I don't "like" or "dislike" water either, it's just a factor for health.

I have a phobia of water, but I'll still happily drink it o.o

Well in New York we are claimed to have the cleanest water. Not sure if need to filter straight out the sink.

in my country we have to boil it due to the fact that if you drink tap water too often you may get something on your kidney.
Not saying that if in thirsty as fuck and there isn't something else I will start boiling it or go shoppig, just that I avoid drinking it.

Surprisingly New York has one of the cleanest water supplies thanks to tight regulations and good plumbing.

All our water has the slight taste of pesticide because of farms.
