Title: Old TTT Map Vote System?
Post by: Tezuni on January 17, 2013, 12:03:34 AM
Did the old ttt map list vote system just get tossed with gmod 13's release, or is it still an option to switch back to?

I thought it was a much better system, being able to shift your vote to your 2nd favorite choice, etc, to get the best result from your vote.

Pretty much with the new one you have to be one of the first ~3 voters to get others to pile onto it.  So you have to find a map you want in like 2-3 seconds...

I'm fine with anything that doesn't have the random map change. As much as I like playing on the other maps it is a drag when the server becomes emptied because of a change to a glitched up map.

Coolz put the random map changes for a good reason, we don't have to play overplayed maps as much as we used to, but yeah, I like the fretta map vote system better, shame there's close to no way to get that in TTT without Fretta :/

That map voting system was part of fretta, which was removed with Garry's Mod 13's release.

Once we iron out all the maps we have and find out which ones are the best it should go a little better, just make sure to report those in the remove a map thread ( http://forum.randomgs.com/index.php/topic,13242.0.html (http://forum.randomgs.com/index.php/topic,13242.0.html) ).
