I need to practice bass, but I'm tired of the same stuff. Leave me some things you'd like to hear me learn and I'll try to play them. Simple, no?

YYZ.
In all seriousness, if you haven't learned anything from the Hendrix Experience you really should. Noel Redding played some really pretty basslines.

I really like the bassline in a lot of Gorillaz and Joy Division songs.

I learned the Bass part for the Gorrillaz Feel good Inc. song. it was really easy. and the tab that i had used at the time made it sound very close to the song.
and, also try stuff by frank zappa, ALOT of Bass parts that seem and sound fun to play. Ill post some Vid's tommorow when i get back.
