What does an SD card do for your computer I heard my friend said it can be used with the hard rive it's a like a slot thingy and it makes you open applications ten times faster.

Windows ReadyBoost

Only really works for terrible, terrible computers... gives more pagefile (or is it "ram"?) for windows to work on.

Just pre-caches apps for launching etc... don't use with slow SD cards
