Title: Thoughts on the Far Cry series?

Specifically on FC1 and 2, but yeah anyone have thoughts about the FC series? Improvements they've made and such?
Personally I think FC1 and 2's AI is dumb as hell, but after seeing some videos on Far Cry 3 I saw the AI was alot more intelligent, they actually gain "evidence" to find out where you are.
