Which has better temps? I heard EVO has better temps and plus has better temps.
-
I've heard a lot recommendations for the evo and recommended it to a lot of people, worked out pretty well.

Both are around the same, but the Plus has places on the bottom that aren't completely flat that get filled up with paste if you try to replace the cooler.
-
Whatever is easier to install... or possibly smaller. Get yourself that and some arctic silver thermal paste. The one that comes in the Cooler's box isn't very good.
-
I switched from a stock heatsink to a Hyper 212 Plus with some AS thermal paste thrown in, and my idle temps went down from 59C with fans at full to 32-38C with case fans off (depending on the temperature of my room). Never going back to stock heatsinks.
And personally, I don't think you'll get major temperature differences between the two models, and the temperature decrease with either one should be more than enough for your needs.
