Title: How did you start pc gaming ?

I was just curious I went from xbox to ps3 to wii to xbox to ps3 again and xbox then pc

Gate showed me rnd since I was 10 when I went to his house that's how I learned about the zs there

He told me about how awesome pc gaming was and I was like horey shet.

Then years passed by and I got my very own pc :D

A complete accident.

I got Portal during that free deal thing. Never got to play it because my computer was old.

After a year or so I got my laptop and I was finally able to play it. I made some random friends after that, got gifted a game, and started getting cheap humble bundles, and finally bought stuff on steam. I bought CS complete and Garrys Mod just for TTT lol. Those 2 things were also my first purchases on steam as well.

Gotta say the free Portal thing was genius of Gabe.  Without it, I don't think I woulda ever fell into PC gaming. Buying a PC soon as well, but I don't now what parts I'm getting exactly.

I think my story for joining the Mustard Race is pretty cool/weird/funny.

I STARTED BY PLAYING DREAMCAST WHEN I WAS A YOUNG LAD. ON DREAMCAST, I PLAYED GAMES LIKE CRAZY TAXI, SOUL CALIBER, MARVEL VS CAPCOM, AND JET SET RADIO FUTURE.

WHEN HALO CAME OUT, I GOT AN XBOX AND STARTED PLAYING THAT, THEN LIKE HALO 2.

I THEN GOT AN XBOX 360 PLAYED LIKE COD AND FIFA AND MADDEN AND STUFF, THEN THREE YEARS AGO, I WATCHED THIS VIDEO.

THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAD EVER HEARD OF TF2 AND IT LOOKED FUN AF SO I STARTED PLAYING IT. THEN PORTAL BECAME FREE IN LIKE 2009 SO I GOT THAT TOO.

I GOT MORE INTO PC GAMING, BUT I WOULD SWITCH BETWEEN PHASES OF LIKE TF2/CS:S AND XBOX.

LAST YEAR WAS THE FIRST TIME I PLAYED GMOD AFTER WATCHING A VARIETY OF VIDEOS FRUM THIS GUY

My first PC game was back on windows 3.1(x) I can't remember the game, sadly. I use to love the game though wish i could find it all i remember about it, it was a platform game where you had magic skills and had to find keys to progress (yes I'm aware that basically could mean like over 1000 different games Lol) and of course some good old classics like "moon lander" and "ski" and alot of text based games Lol

Three or so years ago a me group of friends started getting together and playing Age of Mythology. I expanded and got into Total War and Civilization. I had The Orange Box on the X360 so when I heard the superior version on the PC went free I made a steam account (had one before that, but lost the login info). Then I grew and expanded to all genres, and built a gaming PC.

My dad actually helped fuel my addiction. He let me play a lot of Unreal Tournament when I was five, and sort of just ended up sticking to a mouse+keyboard combo.

My dad too. He put me and my brother on like a schedule and let us play WoW. Because of that, I ended up getting addicted to it for like 4 years or so. And since then games have been 50% of my life.

daaamn hahaha my dad also let me play unreal tournament when i was younger, but that was on dreamcast hahaha

I had it on there too.

My dad and I were both pretty big on consoles when I was Younger. We had a N64, then a Dreamcast, then a PS2.

Although I had the PC version before the dreamcast version, and the PC version has a lot of cooler stuff like new maps and shit. The game I remember playing most on DC was Sonic Adventures and Soul Reaver.

I only played games on the PS2 that a PC didn't have, like Kingdom Hearts.

Got a windows 95 which was meant to be a family computer.
I dominated it, got the kids games along with Age of Empires and Tribes.

Had been a loyal console gamer (minus PS3) my whole life.
Went to college, friend of my brothers had a computer.

He said "Try team fortress"
I said "I played it on xbox it sucked"

4 Years old, played America's Army 2.
Wasn't allowed.
Still did.
Then from there on I stuck with the PC. The PC I use now was the gaming PC I played AA2 on. Cost my dad $1200 dollars for it back then.

I'd go play cheap flash games, and, I've played for my whole life and evolved. But holy shit was my internet slow when I was young.
