Dude, that local news network is affiliated with a network that believes that Obama is a socialist and has graphs that are on par with a second grader.
What the hell do you expect?

People are lining up days before to get a phone?
What the hell has the world come too....

Can't tell if Shawn being Shawn, or trolling.

Normally people wouldn't care if it wasn't for the shear fact that the people who are in line....already spent well over $1000 fucking dollars on previous versions of the iPhone, which essentially was the same shit, just with more capacity/better camera. That, or they really want to support Steve Jobs to get a gold lined coffin.

You won't believe it, Shawn!
There were a DOZEN people Shawn--A DOZEN. Here, since I'm Fox news, let me awkwardly stick a microphone in your face and expect you the most amazingly of bestest description of the Apple products you want.

No. It's just New York.

I just can't see anyone camping for days for a phone. Order it online and save yourself the effort.
I would get an iPhone but I dislike Apple and the thing is pretty much made of glass and thin aluminum. My cheapass android smartphone has been dropped five feet and gotten wet and thrown on the table and it still works with only some scratches on the screen.

Loke's greentext story time.
>mfw 2 years ago, when I had an IPhone 1st gen
>I dropped it while I was on the phone with my dad
>Screen didn't work anymore
>My mom isn't buying me a phone now until I am 15
Seriously. This is why I hate IPhones. I'm getting an android when I am 15.

>mfw last month, I have an Iphone 4
>I left it in my pants pocket and it took a cycle through the washing machine
>Only found out when I went to put my clothes in the dryer
>It won't power on.
"Oh. Well, fuck."
>Leave it on top of the dryer.
>Come back next morning.
>Plug it into USB on my laptop.
>Five minutes later, it powers on.
I don't know what you're talking about, but this thing is fucking indestructable. I've accidentally dropped it about 10-15 feet when I was working on something on my roof. The fall barely even left a scratch on it. It's the main reason I haven't bought a cover yet, because even when I fuck up and hurt it, it barely gets damaged.

I guess you're luckier. Most of the time, the screen cracks when you just drop it.

Maybe on older models. This one hasn't even gotten a scratch on it.
Don't they use like, windshield glass on them now anyways?
//edit, I was sort of right.

This company manufactures the aluminosilicate glass that Iphone 4+'s use.
http://www.corninggorillaglass.com/ (http://www.corninggorillaglass.com/) produced 3GS and below.
So yeah, it is a high-quality shock/scratch resistant glass they're using now. I guess that's why mine hasn't had problems.

Hmm you got a point there. Though, according to this website http://www.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_5-4910.php, (http://www.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_5-4910.php,) the IPhone 5 will use that Gorilla glass 2.
They just wanna rustle people's jimmies.
