Whenever I am in the same map with water in it I would end up crashing and if I looked towards the water I would drop to 9 fps

Uh I'm assuming it's Gmod but maybe put your directx lower for the moment?

Any map with mater will make me crash whether i'm looking at it or not.

Easy fix (I think)
Go to Your library
Right Click Gmod and Properties
Set launch options
type this in the box

Code: [Select]

+mat_antialias 0If that doesnt work, then set you DXLevel to 8.
