Post by: Juan_Ambriz on September 10, 2012, 09:37:52 PM: I recently got into playing this Pokemon MMO that i saw on a facebook page, and i have to say its pretty damn impressive.

Info:
You can have a friends list to battle other players like a two on two, or a two on one or just simple rivalry. Its basically the original game with slight modifications.

How to play it? simple

1. If you haven't already, create an account here. [ http://pokemmo.eu/account/ (http://pokemmo.eu/account/) ]
2. Download the PokeMMO client here. (Mirror) [ http://pokemmo.eu/download_file/?id=1&mirror=0 (http://pokemmo.eu/download_file/?id=1&mirror=0) ]
3. Extract the client to any location on your computer.

4. Locate a compatible ROM (That you have the legal right to use) and put it in the /roms/ folder of the extracted client.
Current Required Compatible ROMS: Fire Red v1.0 USA
Current Optional Compatible ROMS: HeartGold, SoulSilver (Will be used for graphical upgrades)
We will not supply you with the roms, or help you find them as they are copyrighted.

5. Windows: Run PokeMMO.exe
Linux: Run PokeMMO.sh

If you actually do get it my name is "Terminator" And i said i just recently started it so all i have is a Level 5 Charmander lol

I also hope I can play this game with a wired X-Box 360 controller, though some buttions will have to be mapped to the keyboard for sure.

I am also curious as to what happens if you use a hacked ROM instead of the default...
