The president doesn't actually do anything besides look like he does, there's actually a bunch of higher ranking staff that controls the president.

They also don't even count the vote as they rig it to what they see best.

Uh, that's kinda half true. Monsanto uses genetically altered shit in their seeds, sues other farmers for harvesting their seed (because wind doesn't blow seeds, right?), and basically bullied around other farms.
