It's okay, this is how we initiate new people. Be glad we're not doing it like submariners.

Most likely not I am going to be a freshman this year I have a actual head on my shoulders unlike the rest of the other freshman who are like OMFG #SWAG #YOLO and shet like that

the freshman at my school every year are beyond bad. My friends sister said they use to have vending machines and what not but eventually the freshman started a food fight and no more vending machines. My point is from my hearings and seeings of freshman they are just bad some are good but for my school just bleh.

I started school two weeks ago. It's pretty good, I got the graphic design class I wanted, and two advanced classes. I really want to aim for an advanced diploma, but my Foreign language III is unfortunately difficult, hopefully I can make it through it.

Oh that's really cool and I am sure you will make it you must be pretty smart to do graphic design

The classes I might take is probably robotics for computer engineering or commercial photography

I mainly want to do robotics so it can get me ready for the air force academy so I can do computer science and get this one card thingy that's worth like 250000 so basically through most of my high school I am going to bust my ass on classes lol.

Yea me too lol. It sort of sucks going in not knowing what classes I've got though. And half the time they fuck the schedule up so bad with all heavy core subjects one semester with loads of exams and then super easy subjects the next with no exams. So... I hope they weren't stupid with my schedule.

It's funny because

when my school could be investing in great new technological classes like graphical design,

they refurnish the main office with new granite desks every year.

Yah my old teachers at my old school well I guess just my math teachers they hated calculators to.

Eventually a kid stole a calculator so we had to sign a contract just to use one

I cried that day.

I don't get how math teachers hate calculators. They act like they're going to be obsolete by time we get out of college.

Good thing my teachers this year don't believe in that tomfoolery.

started August 13th as a freshman. we're finally getting to use calculators and I'm also finally getting (what I think is called) electives, we only have two choices though, which are Spanish and Art, our school can't really afford anything else I think.. but anyways, I'm being put in art class obviously and I've never really had a drawing teacher before so I'm still really excited about everything.
uhhhh.. we're also going to a retreat soon because I go to a private christian school and it's required to go sleep in cabins for two nights, and surprisingly.. it's not that bad, I hate the whole point of the retreat and just the church in general but, besides that it's alright I guess. both times my older brother kavar and I just sit in the hub or whatever it's called, listen to podcasts and talk with some of our friends.

tl;dr : my school is fucking stupid.

That actually sounds really fun.

But I think my school is a bit more stupid cause of our community

And also the only good thing going for our school is the jrotc program for the Air force

Also our school just blows money on damage repairs cause of the ghetto community

But yah have fun that sounds really kool

So I got physics, English, and math (adv. functions) all in one semester...
And the next semester I have basically all my tech classes. Three tech classes and chemistry.
So this semester I will have at least three exams, next I'll have one if that.
Okay, school.
At least I have my programming class this semester. But that still means even more work. Like... a fucking lot of work from every single one of my classes this semester. Then next semester the only one that will really have some hard work is chemistry.

I want to go out-of-country for Uni though. I have a place in mind, but I still need to do a bunch of research first.

So I started school again and we have this stupid ass beginning school class called "PRIDE" which used to be 0-hour, but they decided "Oh because of budget cuts let's change the name of the hours" so in every period there was some random kid popping up thinking it's x hour instead of x hour. Also, last year my school let us choose what classes we wanted to take (non-required) so I chose every one besides health and Phys Ed, when I got my scheduled today my first hour was Phys Ed and my sixth (right before fucking lunch) was health. Not to mention the art teacher was replaced by one that can't draw for shit. If that wasn't enough when I went to get the usual sub from the lunch line it shrunk to about 1/4th its size because some shit with food in schools due to Michele Obama. My ELA/reading teacher is a major bitch. At least my algebra teacher will let us use a TI 93

Also they merged the sixth grade lunch with the eighth grade so we have to deal with random kids sitting at our table (and fucking sneezing all over my skinny ass sub.)

tl;dr : my school is fucking stupid.

I have all my classes all year. 8 God damn exams. But here they only make up 10% of your final semester grade. So if you have a D at the end of the semester, you're fucked unless you do good on exams.

And Chemistry isn't as painful as I thought it would be, just basic algebra. I dunno if I can use a calculator or not on chem tests, but if not, then I'm also greatly fucked.

This all the way please.

The only course I really have no problem with is English.  Everything else is so repetitive... I almost didn't finish/complete my last math exam because of how many times I had to EXPAND/FACTOR.

and now this is grade 12 physics

lawd

At least Science and Math go hand-in-hand more than they previously did. No more individual summatives for each and every class ever.

Your mind might be developing in a different way that accommodates language more than arithmetic, or the math might be covering a topic unlike the previous math courses that appeals to a different part of your brain... or same for english? o-o

The first day of school here is nice. 2nd year of highschool. I think I'm getting the free college classes program starting on Monday. If I only get one then I'll have a free period. Also the Freshmen are good. Also there are Asian girls. HAHA.   ;) Also I have this class where we do something with art and writing. It'll probably give me ideas and teach me on how to improve the camera angles in my SFM videos. School is graet. Only negative is Math is boring and overcrowded.
