Title: Mic doesn't work properly in GMod.

So whenever I test my mic in the voice options on GMod, it works sometimes, but other times just is static, or nothing at all. It doesn't do it in any other game or application, just GMod.
Could I have help? I find it annoying having to sit there to type.

Check Multi-Core rendering?
If enabled, try disable.

It's not enabled, so it is not the problem.
Im running s SB16 on XP if that helps.
It is just GMod, too. No other game does this.
