Lots of vocoder.

Anyways, the reason it's so eerie is because you have two of the same patterns being played at the same time. One is the standard audio with a fuckload of vocoder, and the other is the same audio about two octaves lower and a semitone off, giving it that demonic sound.

And then you have the fucking grudge "UHHUGHGUHUGH" halfway in with the heartbeat, so that doesn't help.

I should also mention that I ran this through FL Studio just to fuck around with it.

Turns out, I can't tell what the tempo of the song is. It follows some weird pattern that isn't 3/4 or 4/4.

That might also explain why it sound so eerie. It doesn't follow a typical musical structure.
