Title: Good price for a car?
Post by: Captain Communism on August 17, 2012, 05:24:47 PM
I've been doing some searching, and I would like some suggestions as to what a good price for a small truck would be.
As in, is $6,500 too much? Or is that around the average?
Thanks for any replies.

1956 (Don't ask, I'll show you on steam)
It has a four cylinder engine with four speed manual trans system.
Not sure about mileage.
OH, I'd also have to get it shipped from CA....

EDIT: It's more of a robust jeep, actually.

Uh, I don't really know of small trucks from the 50's, but if the closest thing you're etching at is like a Ford or a Chevy pickup, it'll probably be around $10-50k. And that's just if it's fully restored and shined and errything. You could probably get it cheaper if it looks like a run-down piece of crap that still runs, but can be a good restore project.
