Title: Lucid Dreaming
Post by: Juan_Ambriz on July 12, 2012, 09:36:29 AM
For the past week or so, ive been recording my dreams because i thought Lucid Dreaming would be pretty cool, i mean like controlling your dreams..

In two nights ago dream i dreamed that i was in dayz with Marie and Deacon, and we both (Deacon and I) died because marie kept talking when we heard gunshots. I dont mean playing it i mean actually being in it lol.

Last night i think i actually got my first success in Lucid Dreaming, at first i dreamed that i woke up, and i was like "Da fuck why is my Clock fucked up" i went to my mirror and saw myself but all faded out and wierd. So then i knew i was lucid dreaming, i then though "i wish it was MayFair" (A fair that comes to my town in may and is pure awesome lol). My mom then comes in and gives me 200$ saying to go have fun at the fair. :D

I was at the fair and i bought like this long ass balloon one that a clown would use to create something. I then sat on it and though "I WISH I COUL.F FLY" Next thing i knew i couldnt feel the ground and was like FUCK YEAH.

i pretty much leaned forward to fly and said "left" or "right" for turns.. God it was fucking amazing..
i then just woke up..

Have any of you ever Lucid Dreamed? i know Devie made one on Out Of Body Experience but thats a bit different..

The best thing in lucid dreaming is that if you want to wake up you just have to fall on your back. (Well, at least I wake up from it.)

I don't want to lucid dream, because I'd end up thinking of something pretty horrifying on accident and shit bricks irl.

I wanna try this, but I can never motivate myself to do it.

All the time.

Sometimes it's subtle things (Like everything happens as I think it but I just go "Gee that was lucky, almost like I anticipated that"), and sometimes It's '100% aware that I told the door to open'.

It takes practice to also not wake yourself up, but it's a wonderful thing to have.

I always thought that lucid dreaming would be so cool, but I don't know how exactly I would about training myself on how to do it :c.

When you are in bed listen to music that relaxes you and makes you happy. (With headphones)

It can be any type of music. From classical to metal.

This way I managed to achieve half lucid dreaming. (I'm able to control myself and choose the type of the story but not the environment)

I find that looking at specific environments and thinking about them for a while (Example being 72 sets of green hills during a sunset) helps encourage my mind to piece together it's own 'green hill sunset'.

Also helps to give the suggested environment a significance, rather than looking at 72 sets of green hills and going "I hope I dream this"   .-.

Try to keep 'walking' around in the environment (in your mind) for a while as you drift. Sometimes you don't even notice that it's suddenly a dream.

I tried doing that but I get too worked up on it and I can't sleep afterwards.
Oh and in "environment" I meant everything that I can't control. The characters, the places, the events, the personalities and the other characters' affection towards me.

Whenever I consciously dream - as opposed to falling asleep and waking up the next morning in what feels like an instant it is almost always lucid - VERY ludid Full color, sound - can hear people talking, music blaring, etc -, control over things in the dream, and even to an extent my sense of touch, smell, taste works too.  It can be extremely cool, and at the same time a little scary.  If in my dreams, I jump from a tall structure, I feel that weird feeling in the pit of my stomach.  If in y dreams I walk through a spider web, I feel the stickiness.

It has ALWAYS been that way, since I was extremely little, and it fascinates the hell out of friends & family.   I've been wanting to do short stories based on them.

I think we all do, probably a lot, but rarely remember them.

We could probably be having sex with the hottest girl of our dreams every night, but don't remember a single thing about it.

That one time I had a lucid dream was when I waqs at school and a masked gunman came in and started shooting, then it was pretty much like a match of Counter Strike.
