God, that name is a fucking mouthful. Either way though I am so excited for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts game! I already played the demo of it as soon as I could and just absolutely died. The atmosphere and the music is just beautiful, and there are so many interactions (it is also the first Kingdom Hearts to feature non-Final Fantasy/Disney characters, characters from the DS game "The World ends with You") I've also been unfortunate enough to fall upon minor spoilers, but oh god. It's going to be AMAZING. My expectations are so high, I honestly doubt it could disappoint me; no Kingdom Hearts ever has. I know the game might not interest a lot of you like it interests me and maybe some others, but I just thought it might be interesting to share for those of you who have yet to see or hear anything about it. It comes out in America on July 31st, for the 3DS. :)

Yeah it is kind of annoying that they keep putting the recent KH games on handhelds, I can't wait until the next station console one, so I don't have to keep spending my money on buying the handheld to play the game, instead of the game itself ._.
Something that does disappoint me just a tad, is how they made Sora and Riku fucking young again, this like the 3rd game they've done that, AND THEY CUT RIKU'S HAIR (though I feel that they did that, because Riku did a lot of shitty things before, and cutting your hair is known to be a form of letting go of the past, or some shit). Like, I think they're older forms are a lot nicer than their younger ones in my opinion, I dunno... could possibly represent their dream selves. We'll see.

Thought you would post this back in December. Looks pretty damn good for a handheld and after 6 years it's FINALLY a continuation of the story! Brought back a lot of hype, like the first time watching the so called "KH3 Trailer" Time to get a 3DS... FUCK!

Okay im a fan of Kingdom Hearts and all, but im not sure if ill pick this one up. Not because I dont want it, but because I dont want to buy a new system just to play one game. unless of course all KH games from now on are going to be 3DS related , then ill have no choice but to get one. As a stand alone game is it worth getting a new system to play it ?

I've only played the demo so far, but from that I feel it is. I really have my hopes up for this game, it looks amazing. I preordered it about a month or two ago, collectors edition. <3

I just wanted to say. I think it is completely 100% fully retarded for how the music is in this game. Not that's it bad music but it has epic cheerful music during dramatic moments. I remember thinking to myself. "Uhh is the wrong music playing right now? IS that a bug?" :idk:
Would you guys agree?
I think I'm going to try to finish the game today, so then I can give my bitchy review thoughts. lol

Grinding? It's Kingdom Hearts. Easiest game out there. The only time I had to "grind" in the entire series was to level up my drive abilities and to get some item for the Ultima Keyblade in the first game.
Oh god. I haven't played any of that in years... waiting for the next 3DS price drop before I get anything.

Clearly you haven't played other games besides Kingdom Hearts 2. Birth by Sleep I think really pushed it with having to grind. Especially if you wanted to fight Mysterious Figure -shivers-

Exactly what Marie said. KH2 had easy peasy bosses. (Except Xigbar)
KH1 had some pretty hard bosses, and the final boss was challenging as well except for his FINAL form, which was a joke.)
After KH2 all the final bosses/some regular bosses became really hard.

MF was so hard they hard to nerf him in KH BBS FM lol.
I never beat him....
The only way to beat him is just to do some command over and over.(So I hear)

I've played and maxed out all games but Birth by Sleep and Dream Drop Distance. I'm not going to spend so much money on a console I will barely play.
I'd say that it's just how I play all my games. I never have to grind to beat the next boss because I take the time to explore everything over, like checking if a character would have a different line to say and constantly being ambushed by enemies. It's obsessive for 100% completionists so I guess I wasn't completely farming intentionally. The most difficult time I had in KH was with 358/2 days on proud mode. Where there weren't enough enemies to smash.

I gotta admit, that bastard and his 7 or so huge-ass forms did take me a few tries, but that was overcame without any grinding (I don't think you could on the island anyway)
Riku in his dark form was probably the hardest for me in the first game, You just had to keep dodging and clashing with him.
Welp. I used to know everything about the entire series before the latest games. Forgot most of it now... I keep saying to myself that I will set up the PS2 again.

The hardest kingdom heart game for me was 1 because dark riku kept killing me every single fucking time.

Finally got around to beating KH 3D! :D
Will give thoughts on it tomorrow since I going to sleepz now lol.
Secret ending is super easy to get, so I will probably do that first.
