I heard it wasn't worth the $50-$60, and once you beat it, it got boring quick.

It looks fun, but I don't want to be spending that much if what Foo says is true

My brother tried it, it's a VERY FUN game.

40+ hours of gameplay/class

But... the connecting time is horrible and it costs a bit too much.

Was going to buy it.
Cant even connect to their website.
Waited a while looking at reviews and game play.
Glad I didn't buy it.

Diablo 2 was fun because it was dark, scary, and exciting to play. I wanted to use barbarian and rip through hordes of enemies in abandoned temples and spider tunnels. Now it looks more like WoW with that same feel.

The story line, characters, quests, are great. The one thing is the visuals. Not as dark and gritty as the first two.

Demon takes over world. You save world by killing people. Evil people of course.

Diablo III gameplay doesn't give me the same dark feeling like I & II even though the new classes is fun and easy to play

If you had bothered even doing the slightest bit of research, (aka a google search), you would have realized that

1. Diablo III is not on steam, and therefore does not use guest passes
2. You can download the "starter edition" for free from battle.net

There ARE guest passes, but you only get 2 if you buy a retail version.
And downloading the "starter edition" is useless until you bought the game.

If YOU had done the slightest bit of research you wouldn't have made that mistake.

diablo 3 is on blizzard. blizard does guest passes that come when someone buys a game they get physical guest passes (a code on a paper ) for example in d3 you can play until the skeleton king
