There is a solar eclipse in about 2 hours. Should block out around 80% of the sun being a partial eclipse.

Nothing cool ever happens over here on the east coast

Well besides floods and horrible hurricanes.

I always wanna visit the west coast, but time and money are big issues.
There's nothing cool that happens here in the East. At least recently, but I'm glad I'm about 8-12 hours drive away from pretty snazzy places up north.

it's happening right now in hawaii, but barely at all.  The moon just barely scratches the sun.  Probably less than 10%

Just don't forget not to stare directly at it, you really can go blind unless you have the proper eye protection.

Just watched it with 5 pairs of sunglasses over each other.

Holy shit it's almost completely blocked. That looked amazing.

I know I'm stupid for not using the actual glasses but shit man, that was nice.

i cant see but I refleclected the light using a mirror and it made a cresent. its too bright and i will probably probably be blind by morning for glancing at the sun so much.

I took a picture, Look at the house in the middle. It's the reflection of the sun

Saw it through welding goggles. Everything is weird outside, it was like, dull and pale.
